About Me

Michelle Tierney is an esteemed local artist known for her captivating modern abstract artworks. Originally from Clydebank, Glasgow, Scotland, she has a rich background in art and design, having completed her studies at Glasgow College of Commerce and later delving into the realms of digital art and design. Her journey led her to graduate with a BA Hons in Computer Arts from Abertay University in 2004. Despite encountering challenges in her pursuit of a digital art career, Michelle's resilience and determination shone through. Seeking to broaden her skill set and gain valuable business acumen, she embarked on a trainee management course at Ladbrokes. Concurrently, her passion for modern contemporary artwork continued to flourish. In 2005, she boldly pursued a new craft, immersing herself in nightly classes in silversmithing and jewellery making.
